According to the Bylaws of the Purdue Club of Chicago which were effective June 4, 2009:
Any of the following persons shall be eligible to become a Member of the Corporation:
Membership in the Purdue Club of Chicago is open to any graduate of any campus of Purdue University, and all persons who have attended or who wish to support Purdue.
Any person possessing a current membership in the Purdue Alumni shall be a member of the Purdue Club of Chicago.
Further detail are as follows:
1) There will no longer be any mandatory or specific membership fees to be a member of the Purdue Club of Chicago.
3) There will be certain benefits that will be granted to our membership in the form of discounts or otherwise, from specific vendors. These can be found here.
4) Membership Identification -
a) If you are a member of Purdue Alumni (life or annual) - you have a card or can get a duplicate at no cost (by contacting Purdue Alumni at 1.800.414.1541 or
via email). This will serve as the "membership card" for benefits and discounts.
b) For those that do not want to be a member of Purdue Alumni but take advantage of the benefits/discounts we are offering - they can obtain a Purdue Club of Chicago Donor Card. This card will be given to the individual with a $20 donation. (Further details to follow during July/August 2009.)
